ELDR Consulting

PLM / ERP Consultant

Implement and govern Product Lifecycle Management and Enterprise Resource Planning systems for regulated manufacturers, aerospace organisations, and multinational enterprises.

Level: Mid-Senior (5–10 Years) Type: Full-Time · Hybrid Location: Toronto, Ontario, Canada

About the Role

PLM and ERP systems are the operational backbone of regulated manufacturing, aerospace, healthcare, and enterprise environments — and their implementation, configuration, and governance require a rare combination of technical depth, process knowledge, and regulatory literacy. ELDR Consulting's PLM/ERP practice supports clients through system selection, implementation, change management, and documentation governance for Siemens Teamcenter, PTC Windchill, SAP S/4HANA, Oracle, and comparable platforms. The PLM/ERP Consultant delivers these engagements with hands-on implementation expertise and an understanding of the regulatory context — FDA, AS9100, ISO 13485 — in which many of ELDR's clients operate.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and support PLM and ERP implementation projects across requirements definition, system configuration, data migration, and go-live
  • Configure and customise Siemens Teamcenter, PTC Windchill, SAP S/4HANA, or Oracle platforms to client specifications
  • Develop functional and technical documentation — configuration guides, data dictionaries, business process maps, and user training materials
  • Support change control and product lifecycle governance processes in regulated environments (FDA, ISO 13485, AS9100, GxP)
  • Conduct current-state process assessments and gap analyses to inform system configuration and change management planning
  • Coordinate with IT, engineering, manufacturing, and quality teams to ensure system alignment with operational and regulatory requirements
  • Contribute to pre-sales activities including solution scoping, proposal development, and client demonstrations

Requirements

  • 5–10 years of hands-on PLM and/or ERP implementation experience
  • Proficiency in at least one PLM platform: Siemens Teamcenter, PTC Windchill, or ENOVIA
  • Working knowledge of ERP systems: SAP S/4HANA (preferred), Oracle ERP, or comparable platforms
  • Understanding of product development processes in regulated industries — medical devices, aerospace, or automotive
  • Ability to produce structured technical documentation in parallel with implementation delivery
  • Undergraduate degree in engineering, computer science, information systems, or a related field

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience implementing PLM/ERP in FDA-regulated (21 CFR Part 11, ISO 13485) or AS9100/NADCAP environments
  • SAP Certified Application Associate or equivalent PLM platform certification
  • Familiarity with configuration management standards: EIA-649, MIL-HDBK-61, or ISO 10007
  • Experience with PLM/ERP integration patterns — middleware, APIs, and data synchronisation

What We Offer

  • Exposure to complex, regulated PLM/ERP environments across multiple industries
  • Collaboration with a multi-disciplinary consulting team with deep technical and governance expertise
  • Toronto hybrid base with project-based travel to client sites across North America
  • Platform certification support and professional development
